Infinite Dimentions

<Aiden-Ai> Jezz never was good at jumping, she was even worse when going to WaterWorld. There just wasn't enough land to land on -pun intended. So it really was no surpise to her when she found herself inhaling water. She burst up and spurted water like a dolphin. "Karma." she gasped. and started swimming for the closest shore.. Jezz fell over onto the sand and threw her weapons, a bow and quiver, next to her.

<Mr-Cryuga> Instead of sand, the poor girl heard her bow and quiver land with a loud bang on something metallic. This was not a normal island, it seemed. The shore was a massive metal plate, and if she looked op she would see the island was a massive metal jutted out from the sea, with a crows nest the stretched upards, all seemingly built of scrap metal. Waterworld was, as its name implied, a world of water, and this was it's only island. "Who's there?!" Came a rather loud voice from the other side. Barely the size of a football field, Jezz had washed ashore on Bermuda Mountain.

<Aiden-Ai> "A half drowned girl with a headache!" She rubbed the back of her head which she had hit against the metal island. "Ow." Jezz sat up to wring her wavy blonde hair and clothes out. "What a lovely home you have." she knocked on the metal beach to show enthusiasm.

<Mr-Cryuga> The voice from the other side ran over quickly from what ever it was he had been doing. He looked like a wild man, with deep brazen skin and wild black hair, his body toned from fighting the monsters of water world day in and day out. "What... what in the world..." He dropped the harpoon he was carrying to the ground, stumbling back in shock. "You're a human...?" He was a massive man, over twenty to be sure, the many scars and bite marks on his body proof he had been fishing for water monsters for years.

<Aiden-Ai> "Yeah, but the question is, are you human? Man you look scary." She took off her soaking t-shirt to reveal an equally wet tank underneath. "I'm Jezz, you are?"

<Mr-Cryuga> What he was unsure of is if this was real. He raised a massive hand and slapped himself across the face hard enough to rattle his teeth, and when he looked up to see her still there, he just on the iron beach. "Tiger.... my name is Tiger." His mind was blown. "Are you with a rescue ship?! Or... did you crash here...?" Escape would be best, company would be alright too. As much as Tiger would hate to doom someone else to this fate, the loneliness had driven him a little nuts.

<Aiden-Ai> She had to stifle a chuckle as she watched him perform his own version pinch me I'm dreaming. "Nice to meet you Tiger..." she only had one answer to give him, she liked to joke but this wasn't a joking matter. She didn't want to raise his hopes and then crash them just to be killed when he goes psycho on her. "I guess I crashed. Is there anyone else here?" If he said no it was going to be really tricky to jump back home.

<Mr-Cryuga> "Just you me, and those guys." He stood up at last, pointing to a large pool of water he had installed, an aquarium of sorts filled with small colorful fish. "A crash.... It's incredible you got here though!" He turned back to her, back to being enthusiastic. "Please, you must be starving! Come and let me show you the island!" He too excited for words, his first human in fourteen years, not some scaled beast or flesh hungry monster, a human! Tiger went towards the middle of the island, picking up his harpoon as he did.

<Aiden-Ai> While he had his back to her she mouthed to the sky " KAR-MA!" and grabbed her bow and quiver before following him. "I'm not that hungry you can eat it yourself. I just recently crashed... So I've eaten."

<Mr-Cryuga> "Really...? Well, ok then." The island was small, with a few areas he had built with his own hands. A forge where he had built tools, a dock with a fishing rod, a kitchen of sorts, even a sealed off bathroom and a bed made of the softest materials he could save from shipwrecks. As he was dressed in a mix of hides from the sea beasts, he seemed to be a fine craftsman. "I've had a lot of time... make yourself at home, Jezz!" He was smiling ear to ear, laying his weapon by the others near the forge.

<Aiden-Ai> "Thanks..." She set her weapons with his and hung her wet shirt on the shaft of one of her arrows. Jezz wrung out her hair again, revealing her birthmark that resembled a bird. Her hair was starting to dry out and fluff out in all of its wavy blonde glory. Her clothes still clung to her making every wind a bit chilly.

<Mr-Cryuga> "Tell me about yourself Jezz!" He seemed to be almost frantic, not sure how to act hospitable. He had trained for over a decade for this moment, but still wasn't prepared for it. "Indulge me, I can't remember my last conversation with a person!" For this massive monstrous man to be acting so overly friendly was a serious clash, it was like a lion walking up to you and giving you a hug... or more accurately, a tiger.

<Aiden-Ai> She rubbed her arms having just had a chill pass through her, whether it was from her clothes or being suddenly struck shy she couldn't tell. "I can carve... and I climb really well, not that there are any trees here. I was given up for adoption when I was born and never ado..." She stopped there, it was a bit of a sore spot."I do a lot of pranks. Gets me into trouble but I don't see the harm in it. I can set up catapults to shoot at anyone within 50 meters. Really fun."

<Mr-Cryuga> "Probably not going to be a ton of use out here." He sat himself down on a metal bench, drinking some water from a tin cup. "Trees? I've only read about those, I did hear there's still some ships that have whole preserved forests on them though." he smiled, always imagining such wonders. Sand, greenery, warm dry beds, it was the simple things. "I'm going to ask you something really important now... do you have anyway to contact someone on the outside?" Outside meaning outside the currents that crashed any ship that came within a mile of this place.

<Aiden-Ai> Jezz felt a bit insulted at first but realized he hadn't meant it that way. She wanted to tell him that there were whole planets she'd been to that still had real forests. Most of all she wanted to tell him she had a way to just zap him off the island but she couldn't. Maybe she could jump to one of those fancy ships and send them to save him but he couldn't be watching when she left. She shook her head sadly in answer, "Sorry, Tiger."

<Mr-Cryuga> "Damn.... but I guess it doesn't matter anyway." He took a long drink, pointing out at the ocean around them. "There's a massive whirlpool like current that extends as far as you can see around this island of metal. Any ship that gets near it sinks, and washes up here." He sighed, leaning into the bench. "You and I are the first to survive the trip from the edge of the 'whirlpool' to its center, right here." He had tried to escape many times, but the waters almost formed a wall around this place, trapping him inside.
<Aiden-Ai> 'Going for a swim' was marked off her list of excuses to jump for help. She still had the bathroom excuse and when he went to sleep but she'd figure that out later. For now he seemed happy to have someone to talk to and she didn't have anyone waiting up back home. "Well that's good to know. No swimming." She made a show of pretending to write on her hand and laughed a bit.

<Mr-Cryuga> "Oh no you can swim, hell I do all the time" He laughed, motioning to what seemed to be something like leather bags. "I use these things to hold air and dive, my personal record for holding my breath is ten minutes!" Was this guy even human? "But if you go too far out, you'll get swept back here at a crashing speed... then there's the fish. There's more meat eaters in these waters then I can count, Jezz." Which explained all his wounds and scars, to be certain.

*this part has been lost to us but it is understood that Tiger hasn't had fun in quite some time so Jezz had taken it upon herself to create a game to play with all that was in her pockets. There she found a candy bar which she gladly gave to Tiger who hadn't had one in as long a time as he'd had fun. Then she gave him a lenght of blue string and finally found some marbles.*

<Aiden-Ai> "Okay," she bent close to the floor with her butt sticking up in the air and biting on her tongue to concentrate and aim. She shot her marble with her thumb and just barely missed, only managing to move the 'Villain' a little to the right and sending her marble over to his side. "Darn, your turn!"

<Mr-Cryuga> He took aim, closing one eye as he raised his arm in the air. Apparently flicking the marble hadn't occurred to him- he THREW the thing straight for his target, missing by a fifth of an inch and embedding the marble into the steel floor. "Darn." He said, scratching his head. "Your turn." Tiger may have needed a tip or two.

*Okay this time I think the chat messed up but anyways, Jezz had to tell him how to shoot a marble properly and gave him a hug. The hug sent Tiger into shock for a second and he didn't notice when she took her turn and won the game. She asked to meet his fish as her prize. Then she asked if he had named them.*

<Mr-Cryuga> "The silver one is Ishmael, the rainbow one is Marcus, the pink one is Venus-Milo, there's that gold one I didn't name yet..." He shrugged a bit, taking his hands out of the water and sprinkling in some dark bits of food, which were nibbled slowly.

<Aiden-Ai> "Better names then I would've given them. I think I'd have named them all after various candies," she chuckled. "Why haven't you named her yet?" Jezz pulled her hand out of the water and flipped onto her back to look up at him as he fed the pretty fish.

<Mr-Cryuga> "I just haven't thought of anything good yet, I only caught her a few days ago." He shrugged, apparently the type to take it easy when it came to small stuff. "Think you have one?" He smiled, wondering what candy she would name it after.

Aiden-Ai> There wasn't even a hesitation in her answer, "Butterscotch!" She grinned up at him, "The one and only truly golden candy! Do you like it?"

<Mr-Cryuga> He laughed loudly, not sure what else to expect. "I love it." He said, rubbing his eyes as he recovered. "It's perfect, and now all four have names.... fantastic." He smiled, standing up and looking around. This had been just a fantastic day for him. "As for the other tank, you may want to stay away." Tiger gave a light chuckle, "Those ones aren't so friendly."

<Aiden-Ai> Which of course sent her running over to the other tank a bit to enthusiastic. "C'mon, introduce me to them!" as she yelled she tripped over something and was sent sprawling across the metal floor, narrowly escaping a gruesome death as her head landed only a few inches from the side of the tank.

<Mr-Cryuga> "Easy there, Jezz...!" He picked her up, making sure she wasn't about to fall in. There was a bright blue jelly fish, a dark red shell housing who knows what, and finally a curled up black octopus in one corner of the tank. "The jellyfish in named Neon, the thing in the shell... I think it's some kind of crab? I don't really know, but it has a stinger. I just named it Zoid. And the octopus is Ringo, it just gives off a weird poison... spray... I don't even know." He carefully dropped in a large flat and bland fish, tentacles, claws, and stingers thrashing as they tore it apart, and devoured it in seconds, bones and all. "Cleaning this tank out is just such a joy... but their poison is too useful to let them go.

<Aiden-Ai> "Hehe" she managed to chuckle nervously. Jezz held onto his sleeve as she watched the demon fish attack. "I-I think I'll stay away from here..." She whispered and clung to his sleeve and rubbed her forehead to bring her hand back with blood on it. "Tiger? I think I hit my head... "

<Mr-Cryuga> "Really?" He tilted her head just a little to get a better look. "Yeah, you got a nasty bump alright... scrape too. I can get that bandaged up, no problem." He helped her over towards the little workshop, slowly, "Just hurts, right?" He hoped she hadn't gotten a concussion.

<Aiden-Ai> Jezz nodded, "I hit my head a lot, I've got a thick skull." She gave him a small smile to make him feel better. "It's just karma trying to get at me. On the upside I'm not such a terrible person that I would trip straight into a tank of evil fish! That's good right?"

<Mr-Cryuga> "Y-Yeah, I guess so." He said with a nervous kind of laugh. Using dried plants, he was able to make a green bandage for her head, wrapping it around as if it was a headband to protect the wound. "It's kind of a natural bandage, if you dry it first... grows alongside the 'mountain' underwater."

<Aiden-Ai> "Cool," she touched it and smiled. If she stayed to long she'd get attached to Tiger as if he were a puppy and would be stuck there with him. Jezz was already feeling really guilty about planning her escape. Her stomach growled and distracted her from her previous thoughts. "Think we could eat now?"

<Mr-Cryuga> "I thought you'd never ask." He smiled warmly, standing up and putting a hand up over his eyes to shade them. With the sun just starting to set, it cast a bright neon red glow over the ocean. "It's a good night to fish for something spectacular, this won't take a minute." Picking up a large iron trident from his tool shop, he went to the fishing dock, casting out a line and placing the pole into its holster in the dock as he waited for something to drift by. "I hope you're starved, this beasts tend to be more then enough..." He said with a smile, the bob fifty yards out to sea and drifting lazily, shadows cautiously examining his bait in the water.

<Aiden-Ai> Chuckling she plopped down next to him. "If you were hungry you could've said something. You don't have to change any routines for me." Jezz gave him a smile and then looked out to the bob. "Anything I can do to help?"

<Mr-Cryuga> "Sure, you see that big fire pit over in the kitchen?" A large charred bowl in the steel floor, with plenty of dried plants and burnables around it. "Just try and get a fire started, and we can cook up whatever takes the bait." Right on cue, the bob sunk, and Tiger got to work, grabbing the pole and beginning the fight.

<Aiden-Ai> "Aye Aye Cap'n" she shouted as she ran over to fire pit. She made a teepee out of the burnables and made sure he wasn't looking to dig a lighter out of her quiver. She honestly hadn't thought about the things she had in her quiver along with the arrow till now. So Jezz was prank deprived and decided she wanted to trick him into thinking she had managed to get a fire going on her own before she gave him the lighter. "Better hurry I've already got the fire going!"

<Mr-Cryuga> "Liar!" He shouted, fighting with the tugging on the other line. "I don't smell any smoke!" Was this guy seriously human? Out of the water then, jumped a shark. Ten feet long, massive gnashing teeth, and blood red skin. "Get it going, now!" He shouted, kicking off the port and flying into the ocean, Trident in hand. Slamming into the man eating beast mid air, and jamming the massive weapon into his skull, they both sank under the water as they thrashed.

<Aiden-Ai> Jezz blinked as she watched him eating. "Right nothing to worry about... Except being rescued and people thinking you're the monster after seeing you eat." She started munching on her shark meat . "Yum, my compliments to the chef."

<Mr-Cryuga> "Rescue..." The very idea just made him more sullen. "I guess if humans can learn to fly, I might just get off this place yet." Again though, he tried to shake off the thought. "I'm glad you like it. Sorry all I have to drink is... well, water." Once the sky got dark enough, the light from the 'good' aquarium faded, while the poison tank suddenly began to take its place. Neon the jelly fish emitted a bright blue light that lit up the are like a torch, and his kind in the ocean seemed to be doing the same. Spots of bright blue lights popped up all over the water, some flickering in and out, others bright enough to lure prey in. "They only come out on nights with clear skies, I think they like starlight." He said, eating another slab of meat.

<Aiden-Ai> "Flying..." she muttered as she finished her food. Her eyes darted to the evil fishy aquarium as it lit up and then too the ocean. "What ever it is it's amazing Tiger." Jezz looked out in awe and then glanced at Tiger in deep thought. She desperately wanted to tell him she had a way to escape but instead she decided to tell him about her favorite planet in story form. "I heard a story once about a place where land still existed and animals could fly. Pirates were one of the FEW things that made the sea terrible. Huge winged creatures as mystifying as rainbows made the sky so amazing. I always wished I could stay in that place forever, make a dreamworld my home. Maybe the thought can bring you comfort to."

<Mr-Cryuga> "It really does sound like something out of a dream." He said with a smile. "When I was a kid, my mother used to read me stories. Grassy fields as far as the eye could see, massive land beasts that towered over your head... she once told me she named me after her favorite animal from these stories." With the destruction of land all those eons ago, nearly everything had died out that didn't have gills... "I used to see places like that in my dreams, with land, and flight, but at this point I'd be thankful just to get into a city-ship." If there was one thing Tiger had learned in these fourteen years, it was that this world was no longer inhabitable by humans. "I don't have those dreams anymore... I think I've become cynical."

<Aiden-Ai> Jezz moved to sit next to him and elbowed him a bit. "Stop being so cynical, I know it exists." She wanted to make up a story about how she'd seen a ship with the forest on it but it didn't feel right. Instead she decided that, even though it was against the code she would try to sneak a plant here when she left.

<Mr-Cryuga> After a long pause, Tiger gave a weak smile. "Yeah. Alright then." He said, leaning on her a bit, enjoying the warmth of another person for once. "It exists. I just have to keep trying to get there."

<Aiden-Ai> She let out an expertly crafted fake yawn, "Mmm, all that food made me tired. Not to mention all the swimming and knocks to the head I've had today..." The last part did make her feel pretty worn out. "We should go to sleep..."

<Aiden-Ai> "I-I should um I should help." She didn't want to take the poor man's bed just to have him wake up and her be gone! Actually at this point she was having a hard time trying to think about leaving him at all. "And you should take the bed, you did all the real work today! Really."

<Mr-Cryuga> "I insist." He said, beginning to disassemble the fire and their dinner. "I know your head must still hurt, just go ahead and go asleep Jezz, I can handle all the work." He smiled brightly, "It's enough to know you'll be here in the morning." With that, he hauled off the remaining bits of meat to bait his traps.

<Aiden-Ai> Jezz bit her lip as she walked over to the bed defeated. "Night Tiger," she mumbled as she plopped down onto the bed. She decided maybe one more day couldn't hurt so she shut her eyes. Thinking of Bleakbay and it's beautiful pegasai she drifted to sleep. Or so she thought. She woke to the feel of water running up her leg. For a second she thought she was peeing but realized pee doesn't go up and the bed wasn't made of sand before. She sat bolt upright to see that she was on a beach, not Tiger's mountain.
